We offer advice to clients in person, over the telephone, and by email. You can also make free calls to the bureau from any of our community hubs.
When you contact us for for advice, you will initially speak to one of our trained volunteers who will assess how we can help with your enquiry. This will usually be an interview lasting for approximately 15 minutes. We may be able to assist you with information that can help with your enquiry during this interview. If not, we may decide you need an appointment or a referral to a specialist in the bureau or elsewhere.
We currently have over thirty trained staff and volunteers who operate in a wide variety of roles.
We are a fully independent registered charity with our own Trustee Board.
The bureau is a member of Citizens Advice.
